The story

Familiar furniture, a more open chapter.

Villa 89 followed the family’s original Villa 62C home. The move introduced a larger reception room, taller windows, lighter stone floors, and a garden with space for everyday family life.

Instead of replacing the furniture, Maissa carried forward many of the family’s carved pieces and arranged them for the new proportions. Slim black side tables and simpler accessories create breathing room around the traditional upholstery and wood.

The result shows how thoughtful placement can extend the life of well-made furniture. The pieces retain their memories while responding to a brighter and more generous home.

“A new home can change the feeling of familiar pieces without erasing their story.”
